Mapping Development Controversies and Debates

The development sector is concerned by large controversies on projects, programs, ideas, theories, empirical methodologies. That’s why we think that:

• understanding these controversies are critical in order to better analyze development issues and in order to better analyze the impact of development projects or programs.
• there is a space for a new kind of development economics where we start from the subjective knowledges among actors.
• there is a space for new kind of methodologies based on web mining cacthing semantic data and new formats of data.
